Sunday Night Football: Colts vs. Eagles
Flex scheduling was supposed to prevent things like this. NFL rules now allow NBC to select their Sunday night games a couple of weeks in advance to avoid late season matchups like Tennessee vs. Minnesota or something. And even with the new policy, we still end up with Jeff Garcia in prime time. But if he comes out with no shirt and all oiled up, it could be a ratings bonanza in certain non-traditional male households.
But I'm not complaining. Football on Sunday night is better than no football on Sunday night. And I can't deny enjoying the Peyton Manning commercials. He's a funny guy. Perhaps it took the presence of Eli Manning to portray Peyton in a more positive light, but it's working for me.
The fine gentlemen at Philadelphia Will Do are getting into the spirit of things, too.
