Red Klotz went out on a 43-year losing streak. The founder, owner, and longtime coach of the Washington Generals died over the weekend in Margate, N.J. He was 93.
William 'Bull' Bullard made it to the finals on American Ninja Warrior, but he couldn't overcome the obstacle of a collapsing backboard standard during a Harlem Globetrotters exhibition in Honduras.
Dennis Rodman's bizarre visit to North Korea has led to many dissections of North Korea's strange relationship with basketball—or rather, the Kim family's strange relationship with basketball—and one happy consequence is the opportunity to remember that, despite the Kim family's love for the NBA, they sometimes ignore…

Conan O'Brien might have some downtime coming up. So the Washington Generals, they of the decades-long losing streak, have reached out and offered him a starting spot.
