Tart Like A Wheel

On Sunday, Ashley Force, another comely lass who loves all things smelling like motor oil and shaped like spark plugs, became the first woman to ever win the NHRA Funny Car ( fuh-fuh-funny car! funny car!)event. You may remember Force from that reality show "Driving Force" where her and her racing family pretty much did the same things that the guys did on "American Chopper", but with less muscle shirts and more helmets. And, yes, based on some of her phtos, it appears she's also a person you'd most likely not ask to leave your sleeping quarters for munching on a crumbly snack.

Force's win comes just a week removed from Danica Patrick's monumental Indy Car victory, hopefully providing inspiration for plenty of young lead-footed ladies who someday dream of becoming racing champions. The only thing left is for a female monster truck driver to take Mrs.BIGFOOT over 50 burning station wagons and this glass ceiling in racing will be officially shattered forever.
