Temple Basketball Player Celebrates 21st Birthday By Getting Busted For Allegedly Soliciting A Prostitute
Depending on the traffic, Atlantic City, N.J., is a little more than an hour from Philadelphia by car, which makes it the perfect sort of getaway for college students from the city looking for some harmless mini-Vegas bacchanalia. Temple guard Khalif Wyatt, who turned 21 over the weekend, probably had that in mind when he was down in AC the other night. But his timing was terrible.
According to CSN Philly, Wyatt was just a few blocks from the boardwalk when he allegedly tried to solicit a prostitute who turned out to be an undercover cop. He was nabbed early Sunday morning as part of a two-day prostitution sting that netted a total of 28 people. Wyatt also "was apprehended after attempting to flee the scene," so it sounds like he'll be spending at least part of the summer working on his defense.
