You know, this is the NBA Finals, the World Cup, the start of some obviously exciting baseball pennant races and, of course, ant soccer. One would think it would be our one Terrell Owens-free time of the year.

As anyone who watched Game 1 of the Heat-Mavericks series last night knows ... nope! Not only was Terrell there in a Miami Heat jersey — which is actually only in the top five of anti-Dallas actions Owens has taken in the last few years — but he's also having some trouble with that kids football camp he was hosting. He showed up late.

It was 3 p.m. The group of nearly 60 campers attending the Terrell Owens Youth Football Camp was ready for the star attraction. By 4 p.m., the time the first day of the two-day event was supposed to end, they were irritated. By 4:30, a few of them left. "Where is T.O.?!" one young boy screamed. A parent exhaled, "I'm through with him."

T.O. did officially show up, and he had this piece of advice for the kids: "You can be anything you want to be," he said. "It starts at home listening to your parents. Do well in school. Do that, and you can buy as many things as you want." Yep. That's exactly what you should shoot for, and exactly how it happened for T.O.
