Terry Pendleton Roughed Up Chris Johnson For Sliding Into First Base

We've proven time and again that sliding into first base gets you there slower than if you run through it. Chris Johnson joined that Idiot Club of first-base-sliders and ended the Braves' rally tonight against the Phillies. His punishment was an enraged Terry Pendleton getting physical with him in the dugout.

Johnson deserved all of it, of course, for his Idiocy. We remain amazed that professional baseball players paid to perform at the highest level repeatedly make decisions that increase their likelihood of losing. But, then, managers still order players to sacrifice bunt, too. [SS]
