•Kansas cruised to a Big 12 Title, but West Virginia needed a runner from Da'Sean Butler to take the Big East crown. And as one familiar pundit puts it, "Mississippi State will win the SEC. Either tomorrow or when it's vacated in 3 years."


•Manny Pacquiao was never threatened in a unanimous decision over Joshua Clottey. Bob Arum now knows you'll shell out $49.95 to watch Pac Man and a sparring partner, because that's all this was.

•I'm not sure what thrills me more about Jake Delhomme inking a two-year deal with Cleveland. That we get to see Jake Delhomme toss INTs for another couple of years, or that the Browns thought so highly of Brady Quinn that Jake Delhomme was a better option.

•The Mavericks saw their 13-game win streak end with a 34-point loss to the Knicks. And, as per NBA rules, those 13 game are now counted as losses.

One of the good lady horses won, but the other one didn't. I'm not sure I can be bothered to provide more detail, because a)it's not May, b) they're not 3-year-olds, and c)it's 2010, so no one gives a toss about thoroughbred racing.
