The Cardinals Lost Their 29th Game

The St. Louis Cardinals had their five-game winning streak snapped Tuesday night as the Houston Astros beat them, 5-2.
Astros starting pitcher Doug Fister allowed two earned runs, five hits, and one walk while striking out six in 7 1/3 innings of work. He also had his first hit of the season (in three plate appearances) with a two-RBI single off Cardinals reliever Seung-hwan Oh in the seventh, which gave Houston a three-run lead it didn’t lose.
