The Marlins' Nickname For Casey McGehee Is Just A Modified Boob Joke

Nobody really pays much attention to the Miami Marlins, so we are guessing that not nearly enough people are aware of infielder Casey McGehee's nickname: "Hits McGehee."

This is notable for a few reasons, the first being that it's an obvious play on the "Tits McGee" joke from , and the second being that the team is 100 percent behind the proliferation of the name. The Marlins twitter account loves using the #HitsMcGehee hashtag, and the team even built a push to get McGehee into the All-Star Game around the nickname. Even the play-by-play guy uses it:

So there you have it. A professional baseball player has a team-sanctioned nickname that will now make you think of a dumb boob joke every time you hear it. There are many reasons to hate the Marlins, but this isn't one of them.
