The PTI Guys Said Some Really Dumb Things About Dan Le Batard
Here's some on-air ESPN-on-ESPN violence, with Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon giving us their thoughts about their colleague Dan Le Batard's decision to turn his baseball Hall of Fame vote over to Deadspin. Were their takes hot? They were so hot.
Basically, Kornheiser and Wilbon are arguing that the voting process for the Hall of Fame is perfect and not at all completely broken, and that Le Batard did what he did because he is sanctimonious. Do they understand what that word means?
Also, they really, really want to blame Le Batard for Craig Biggio not getting into the Hall, but they can't. The whole thing is highly—if probably inadvertently—entertaining.
