The Ravens Have a Wide Receiver? Yes. The Ravens Have a Wide Receiver.
Because no one reads the newspaper, and SportsCenter's anchors are too perky for this early in the morning, Deadspin combs the best of the broadsheets and the blogosphere to bring you everything you need to know to start your day.
•Yes, Anquan Boldin, reach up and touch the sky baby. You are headed to Baltimore-see you at Power Plant Live! Cardinals traded Boldin and a 2010 5th round pick to the Ravens for a 2010 3rd and 4th. Not bad. In Baltimore, he will team join an offense featuring Ray Rice, Todd Heap, the Blind Slide, Joe Falcon, Slim Charles, Barry Levinson, Donte Stallworth and (possibly) Derek Mason. Good times to be a Ravens fan.
• Julius Peppers is going to Chicago. Peppers will make a $40.5 million over the next three years. The rest is complex contract stuff. Hey Julius, last fall my wife and I went to Chi-town for our first anniversary. I know it sounds cheesy, but you have to take an architecture tour, thank us later.
•Pistons PG Rodney Stuckey leaves game after 8 points, 10 assists and 1 seizure. Get well soon. Thanks to Lionel Osbourne for the tip. Outstanding.
• First Lady Michelle Obama runs some agility drills to encourage our youths to be more active and less gigantic. But what if we were too skinny as a nation, would alternate-reality Michelle Obama eat pan pizza in front of an elementary school?

If you like jokes like that- strap in for a day FULL of giggles, ha-has, tee-hees and LOLs.
My name is Stev D and I am going to make this a Saturday to remember. But it won't be all jokes and wordplay, no- in addition to the fun, let's be productive! Today is the perfect day to clean the shit out of your apartment/home/dorm/car/carpet fort.
A thought occurred to me last week while I was cleaning my place and listening to music, "why does nobody ever discuss the best albums to listen to while cleaning." It's a neglected genre, that encompasses many genres, but here's what I think a good cleaning apartment album should have:
•Majority of songs in an up tempo, major key. •Tasty bass lines are a must. Hot guitar lixxx not always necessary, but nice. •A few slower songs. Maybe about a girl who got away, a friend who died or a wrongfully imprisoned foreigner. •Nobody from Aerosmith.
Here's some albums I spun while cleaning last week:
James Brown-Love Power Peace James Brown - Live At The Olympia, Paris 1971 Matt & Kim- Grand Elvis Costello- My Aim is True The Clash- Give 'Em Enough Rope The Strokes- Room on Fire
Please add your recommendations, cleaning insights or a bon mot or two in the comments; and please submit #tips. Everybody, let's get involved.
