We're just more than 24 hours away from the start of the World Cup, and various Deadspinners have arrived in Germany and are already casting their arrogant American eyes — as opposed to their humble American wrists — to the glory that is the world's biggest sporting event.
Reader Jesse Soloff was at the Berlin Fan Fest yesterday, which kicked off with a free concert. Nelly Furtado was the headliner, but she wasn't the true star of the show. Who was it, then? (No, not Hasselhoff, but that's a good guess.) It was Right Said Fred, of course! Apparently they're still alive and everything, entertaining fans with their unique brand of shirtless pop.
Meanwhile, reader Aris Ohanessian points out that he's been able to find souvenir jerseys of just about every team in the Cup ... except for the U.S., of course.
