Tiger's Back
This story actually broke last night, but I was unable to write about it then because I immediately got the vapors, then fell and hit my head, and only just now regained motor function.
Yes, the legends are true. Mr. Eldrick Woods will play golf for money next week, his first official appearance since winning the U.S. Open with two shattered knee caps and a broken three-wood eight months ago. Oh happy day!
He will enter the World Golf Championship Accenture Match Play Hootenanny, and will face Brendan Jones in the first round on Wednesday. It's the perfect tune-up for a rusty player and a event that Tiger has won three times in the past. The rest of the world's professional golfers still do not matter, but at least now they can go back to playing without the added pressure of having to pretend that anyone cares about them. It's very liberating.
