Tom Brady Sidesteps Question About Whether His Quack Guru And Belichick Have Beef
Photo credit: Joe Sargent/ [object Object] The scuttlebutt around the Patriots, per recent media reports, is that Bill Belichick isn’t too fond of Tom Brady’s quack personal trainer and business partner, Alex Guerrero. (Guerrero is the “brains” behind the pseudoscience upon which Brady’s bullshit wellness program is built.) According to Pro Football Talk, Brady was asked today during a radio hit on WEEI whether this was true, and Brady’s response was decidedly diplomatic:
Asked today on WEEI whether there’s an “issue” with Brady’s trainer Alex Guerrero and Belichick, Brady declined to answer.
“I don’t have any comment on that other to say Alex is a big part of what I do. I am fortunate to have him,” Brady said.
There certainly seems like there’s something there, what with Adam Schefter reporting last week that he too had heard of some discord between Belichick and Guerrero, and observers noting that Guerrero has not been seen traveling with the team on recent road trips the way he had customarily done. Brady’s non-answer would appear to lend credence to this.
But who knows. Maybe Guerrero and Belichick don’t have beef and maybe Guerrero isn’t a blatant fraudster and maybe the good doctor has just been really busy of late perfecting that cure for cancer he’s talked about before.
