U.S. Bobsledder Gets Locked In Bathroom, Destroys Door To Escape
What is going on with these Sochi bathrooms, man? Johnny Quinn, a pusher on the U.S. bobsled team, had an appearance on The Today Show this morning but before that, he had to take a shower. The door somehow locked or got jammed while he was in there so he was trapped inside the bathroom without a phone or any other means of getting help. So he blew up the door.
This is like something out of a cartoon but with real world physics at play. Quinn didn't kick the door in, breaking the lock or door knob and he didn't knock it off it's frame, he basically ran through it. What's left isn't quite a Johnny Quinn-shaped hole but it did the job. Lucky for him the inside of the door appears to be made of cardboard.
