The Patriots couldn’t convert a single third down (in 11 chances) in Monday night’s 27-20 loss to the Dolphins. Head coach Bill Belichick opened up about the defeat after the game by grumbling and staring and grumbling some more.
The first question asked if the team overlooked Miami due to next week’s game against the Steelers, who are a bigger AFC threat. “No. Give me a break,” Belichick said between long pauses, as he moved his head around in what might have intended to be a sign of disapproval, but instead resembled a cat with a string on the side of its face. “Any questions about the game or not?”
