Von Miller Says There's "No Chance" He Plays Under Franchise Tag This Season

Contract negotiations between Von Miller and the Denver Broncos aren’t going anywhere. Miller wants to be paid like one of the best defensive players in the league, and the Broncos don’t seem willing to admit that he’s worth more guaranteed money than Olivier Vernon. The team made things worse when it leaked the non-guaranteed (and therefore meaningless) dollar amount of their offer to the media, seemingly in an attempt to make Miller look ungrateful. Now, Miller is threatening to sit out the whole season:

Maybe Miller’s bluffing, but it’s never a good sign when a team’s stinginess drives one of its players to take stands on Instagram.
