West Virginia QB Clint Trickett's First Kiss Was Nick Saban's Daughter
Nick Saban is perhaps the Platonic ideal of the kind of dad that strikes fear into the heart of any boy foolish enough to attempt dating his daughter, especially because he could likely get away with murder in the state of Alabama. And yet, West Virginia quarterback Clint Trickett, who is playing Alabama this Saturday, is out here openly bragging about how he totally smooched Saban's daughter.
From the Pittsburgh Post Gazette:
When asked whether he knew Alabama coach Nick Saban well, he grinned and said, "His daughter was my first kiss, back in the day." He paused, looked around sheepishly and added, "So yeah ... I don't know if I should have said that." It wasn't necessarily star-crossed lovers, though. The huddle of reporters around him laughed and as one began to ask his next question, Trickett cut him off and added, "For clarification, we were like six years old! Just so everybody knows that."
We'd say that Trickett might need to worry about some retaliation from Saban during Saturday's game, but he should be more worried about whether his gossiping upsets Kristen Saban. After all, she's the one who's been alleged to mercilessly beat the shit out of people who upset her.
