Well would you look at that! Roberto Soldado—once renowned for his uncanny ability to get goals without ever looking all that impressive doing so, now more famous as the world’s second-biggest bottler (behind fellow Spaniard Fernando Torres) stemming from his terrible stint with Tottenham—is back in Spain and back scoring.
This cool little finish is his second goal in as many games for his new employers, Villarreal. Later on in the match against Espanyol, he laid on this through ball to set up Cédric Bakambu for the go ahead goal:

Turns out that... questionable performance kicking balls into the stands wasn’t a bad omen after all. Just look at that smile in the first video. You can practically read “See! I knew I was still good!” right there on his face.
