Yoán Moncada Carted Off After Nasty Outfield Collision With Willy García
Less than two weeks after he was called up to the major leagues, White Sox top prospect Yoán Moncada was carted off the field after colliding with teammate Willy García in the outfield during the sixth inning of tonight’s game against the Blue Jays. García was able to walk off under his own power, but he left the game as well:
The White Sox have announced that Moncada is day-to-day with a knee contusion. X-rays for further damage came back negative. García has a head contusion and will be evaluated further in the morning.
