Young Pirates Fans Geek Out After Fist Bump From Andrew McCutchen

Everything about this video of two young fans fist-bumping Andrew McCutchen is perfect.

It starts with some innocent cheering as the Pirates clinch the win. Then, the kids notice McCutchen is headed toward them, and their excitement grows rapidly. McCutchen nonchalantly hands over his batting gloves, gives the kids a fist-bump, and runs back over to his teammates. While Cutch plays it amazingly cool, the kids freak out, in the way only kids can when they’ve been recognized by someone they consider a hero. The moment when the young dude in the yellow jersey points and screams “I love you” at the ballplayer who made his night is legitimately touching. He wasn’t the only one tearing up at that point.
