Your College Football Open Thread

Some pretty excellent options on the first weekend post-BCS rankings: noon brings LSU at Texas A&M in College Station, while the afternoon has a good-ish match-up between Texas Tech and TCU (the match-up there being, of course, between technology and Christianity), the battle of the University and the State in Michigan, and the excellent game between South Carolina and Florida. Things tail off a bit at night depending on your interest in seeing bright orange blood all over the field when Alabama goes to Tennessee, but K. State at West Virginia ought to be a good 'un, as should Nick Florence and Baylor styling on UT. Enjoy, yak down here, and we'll link back throughout the day.
