Atlanta thinks it has the momentum, even before they figured out whether Billy Wagner was operable. Pat Burrell is evoking non-narcotic, promised-land comparisons to Barry Bonds in San Francisco.

That's all well and good, but here's what's worth thinking about before the game starts: Atlanta was really good at home his season (56-25) while San Francisco was five games over .500 on the road. Tim Hudson has four more wins, the same number of losses and .24 fewer ERA points than Jonathan Sanchez.

Probably doesn't mean much in the playoffs, though. Or does it?
