Yunel Escobar Got Ejected For Drawing In The Dirt

Angels third baseman Yunel Escobar is a known dickhead, so it’s not totally surprising to see him invent a brand new way to get ejected from a baseball game.

In the bottom of the seventh inning of yesterday’s game against the Orioles, Escobar was apparently upset with home plate umpire Tim Timmons for not calling a strike on a Chris Davis check swing. Escobar expressed his dismay by theatrically drawing some shit in the dirt (mobile users turn phone sideways or click here for video):

I guess that’s supposed to be a home plate? If there’s anything we’ve learned from this incident, it’s that Yunel Escobar sucks at drawing.
