Best NBA Plays Today (Odds Courtesy of DraftKings)
- Raptors/Hawks Under (234.5)
- Spurs (+2.5) vs. Rockets
- Timberwolves (-11.5) vs. Jazz
Raptors vs. Hawks Under (234.5)
The Raptors routed the Hawks on opening night in Atlanta, 138-118. The game sailed Over the total of 237, but the total in Friday’s rematch at State Farm Arena drops several points.
Atlanta is coming off an Over in Tuesday’s 127-112 home victory against Orlando, eclipsing the total of 229.5. The Hawks have not seen consecutive Overs this season, while allowing less than 117 points in six of seven games since that debacle against Toronto in the opener.
The Raptors are riding a three-game Under streak, as their defense has yielded 104 points or fewer each time. Toronto shot 68.5% on 2-point attempts against Atlanta and that likely will not happen again on Friday night.

Spurs (+2.5) vs. Rockets
The Spurs return home following a two-point loss to the Lakers on Wednesday night. San Antonio looks to snap a two-game slide following a 5-0 start as the Spurs welcome Kevin Durant and the Rockets.
Houston has won five straight games since an 0-2 start, including four victories by double-digits. Durant is coming off his worst shooting game of the season in Wednesday’s 124-109 win over Memphis, scoring 11 points on 5-of-18 from the floor.
San Antonio is listed as an underdog for the first time since defeating Dallas on opening night, while seeking a 4-0 start at home. Spurs’ star Victor Wembanyama is looking to rebound after combining for 28 points in the two losses to the Suns and Lakers.
Look for San Antonio to grab the underdog cover against Houston at home.

Timberwolves (-11.5) vs. Jazz
It’s been a rocky start for the Timberwolves, who are 4-4 so far with three wins against the Pacers, Hornets, and Nets, who have combined for five victories. Minnesota hosts Utah in a Northwest Division battle, as the Jazz play their fifth consecutive road game.
Anthony Edwards returned to the Minnesota lineup on Wednesday following a four-game absence, but the Wolves fell short against the Knicks in a 137-114 setback. The Wolves are 2-6 against the spread this season, including an ugly 0-4 ATS mark at Target Center.
But things could turn around here for Minnesota, facing a Utah squad that fell apart in the second half of Wednesday’s 114-103 loss at Detroit. The Jazz have scored 105 or less points in all four games on their current road trip and haven’t passed the 105-point mark away from Salt Lake City this season.
Although this is a heavy number to lay, this is a good get-right spot for Minnesota here to rout Utah.
