A Fine Example Of The Rare Post-Goal Hockey Fight

This is the sort of thing you don't see every day, which could also be said about Scott Gomez's goal tonight. But this was fun too!

Late in the first period, Toronto's Dion Phaneuf (he of the girly voice) took Philly's Scott Hartnell down into the boards—though there may have been a pinch of #hartnelldown. The Flyers kept the puck in the zone, and Hartnell was in the perfect spot to put home a loose puck. Hartnell gives a little fist pump, then turns to face Phaneuf. Hartnell knows exactly where Phaneuf is, because he's been stalking him since the takedown.

The fight itself was short, even, and ugly, and Hartnell would complete the Gordie Howe Hat Trick in the second period of a 4-3 Flyers win.
