A Skydiver Damaged Kevin Harvick's Car Before Yesterday's Race

Kevin Harvick has never won a Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway, and two hours before Sunday's race he received a sign from above: This wasn't going to be the day.

A skydiver, part of the pre-race festivities, came in low and fast over Harvick's 29 car, smashing his driver's side door with a sandbag used to weight down the Texas flag. The car had to be wheeled back to the garage to work the dent out, but it was ready to go for the green flag. Harvick finished ninth; don't mess with Texas.
