According To ESPN, Baylor Has Recruited The NBA's Next All-Time Leading Scorer
Baylor may have missed the Final Four this year, but there's good news for the Bears on the recruiting front, according to ESPN's RecruitingNation. Unbelievably good news:
The Bears trade one lottery pick for another as Isaiah Austin (Arlington, Texas/Grace Prep) comes into the program with the look and feel of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Yep, in Waco they mean business when it comes to lottery bigs, and Austin is next.
No, there's not any sort of caveat attached to that evaluation. ESPN's recruiting experts have looked at Isaiah Austin, and he's Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Pencil him in for three straight college championships—followed by six NBA titles, six MVPs, and 38,000 points. They've really got these high-school projections down to a science, huh?
