Adrian Peterson Has A Torn Meniscus
Photo: Jim Mone/ [object Object] Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson left Sunday’s game early with a leg injury and had to be carried back to the locker room. Today, head coach Mike Zimmer said that Peterson had torn his meniscus.
Before the season started, the Vikings lost QB Teddy Bridgewater to a non-contact knee injury in practice and traded for Sam Bradford to remedy the situation. With no timetable for Peterson’s return, the team will have to rely on running backs Jerick McKinnon and Matt Asiata.
