We know it's almost holiday time because there's an inexplicable Monday afternoon college basketball game. We're going to try to tear ourselves away from CNN's monthly let's pretend we're not rooting for a live plane crash because it would be outstanding television to watch Michigan State play Chaminade on ESPN2 in about 10 minutes.

The top-five-ranked Michigan State is playing so early today after they lost by 22 points to Hawaii over the weekend, a game in which several Spartans players had to leave because of cramping. This leads us to one of our favorite picture motifs, via Big Ten Wonk: The middle aged man looking incredibly pissed off while wearing a ridiculous Hawaii shirt. Is it possible to do anything dignified wearing an Hawaiian shirt? They really shouldn't allow photographers at games where all the coaches are wearing Hawaiian shirts.
