Another Mike Leach Book Inscription: "Anybody But Craig James For Senator"

Last night, we showed you the personalized message Washington State football coach Mike Leach left when autographing a copy of his book for a fan, which referenced the possibility that Craig James killed five hookers while at SMU.

Upon seeing that photo, a reader named Pete sent us the pic he took with Leach along with the personalized autograph you see above, which Pete said he got at a book signing in Austin, Texas, a few months back. This time, as you can plainly see, Leach makes an unambiguous endorsement in the race for Texas's U.S. Senate seat, which James is trying and (failing) to pursue.

Pete said he specifically asked Leach to sign the book with a reference to the campaign:

When I told him what I wanted, he gazed into the half-distance and said, roughly, "You know he's already proven he'd make a great politician: he lies, he's self-delusional, and he's obsessed with himself"—I don't remember the exact words but it was along those lines and definitely a strong & funny slam.
