Basketball Rim No Match For Strong Dunk

We are in a barren wasteland of basketball news right now (a minor feud between Jae Crowder and Marcin Gortat is almost newsworthy at this point). Thankfully, this teen (Isiah Stokes, a highly-regarded recruit) dunked the shit out of a basketball and brought down the whole dang basketball ring at a summer camp.

Stokes, the younger brother of NBA player Jarnell Stokes, said that he went up trying to break the rim, but he didn’t expect to. He eventually had to get three stitches on his hand:

“I had intentions to try and break it,” Stokes said before heading to a local hospital to get stitches on his left hand. “But I didn’t think I’d be able to do it.”

I wouldn’t be opposed to a dunk contest between Stokes and Shaq’s large adult son Shareef.
