The NFL made the announcement Sunday that Puth will sing the national anthem, Carlile will perform "America the Beautiful" and Jones will sing "Lift Every Voice and Sing" at Levi's Stadium.
"Super Bowl Sunday is the world's biggest entertainment stage, and we're proud to spotlight artists who embody the very best of music and culture," said Jon Barker, senior vice president of global event production for the NFL. "Beyond the game itself, the Super Bowl is a global celebration. These artists bring a distinct voice to the moment, helping set the tone for a day that will captivate fans around the world."
Desiree Perez, CEO of the event's co-producer Roc Nation, called the trio "generational talents" who will be joined by deaf performers during the songs. Deaf music artist Fred Beam will perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" and "Lift Every Voice and Sing," and deaf music performer Julian Ortiz will deliver "America the Beautiful."
Three-time Grammy Award-winning global recording artist Bad Bunny of Puerto Rico was announced in September as the halftime performer for Super Bowl LX. Deaf performer Celimar Rivera Cosme of Puerto Rico will be part of a multilingual signing program that the NFL said is a first for the halftime show.
Carlile, 44, is an 11-time Grammy winner, two-time Emmy winner, Oscar nominee and New York Times best-selling author. Her eighth studio album "Returning to Myself" was released in October. Her collaboration with Elton John for "Who Believes in Angels," released in April, was nominated for a Grammy for best traditional pop vocal album.
Puth, 33, is a four-time Grammy nominee as well as multi-platinum singer, songwriter and producer with more than 35 billion streams and global hit songs such as "See You Again" and singles including "Attention" and "We Don't Talk Anymore."
Jones, 27, won a Grammy for best R&B performance for the song "ICU" in 2024. She has eight Grammy nominations. Her debut album "Why Not More" is nominated for best R&B album at the 2026 awards ceremony.
