Braves' Mallex Smith Gets Caught Stealing Second, Bloodies His Face
Braves outfielder Mallex Smith, who has an excellent first name, made his MLB debut in Monday’s game against the Nationals, and was bloody by the fourth inning.
Smith slid as he tried to steal second base, which caused his helmet to fall off and hit him in the forehead. When he stood up, there was blood dripping down his face.
The Braves listed Smith as day-to-day. At least he looked cool.
