BYU's Nick Emery Ejected For Throwing A Cheap Shot To The Face
BYU freshman Nick Emery was assessed a flagrant fouled two and tossed from tonight’s rivalry game against Utah, after he socked Brandon Taylor with no apparent provocation. As Taylor lay on the floor holding his face, Emery stared him down:

During the press conference after Utah’s 83-75 victory, coach Larry Krystkowiak said that after the punch, Emery told Taylor to stay on the ground. Taylor would only confirm that Emery said something “very foul”:
Expect the NCAA to heavily punish Emery, and then BYU—with its strict honor code—to come down even harder.
