Defending Gold Medalist Diver Scores A Perfect Zero
Image via NBC Ilia Zakharov won the gold medal in the 3m springboard event at the 2012 Olympics. He made it all the way to the semi-finals at this year’s games, and that’s where his quest to win back-to-back golds went very wrong.
On his fourth dive of the day, Zakharov did this:

Image via NBC Zakharov finished with the worst score out of the 18 divers in the semi-finals. Hopefully he’s relaxing somewhere right now, having an ice cream.
