Dolphins optimistic WR Jaylen Waddle (shoulder) can play vs. Bills

Mandatory Credit: Nathan Ray Seebeck-Imagn Images Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle will test his injured shoulder before the game and Miami is optimistic he can play Thursday night at Buffalo, NFL Network reported.
Waddle was limited in practice during this short week and is listed as questionable after sustaining the injury in Sunday's 33-27 home loss to New England. After Waddle had just four catches for 30 yards in Week 1, he recorded five catches for 68 yards and a touchdown against the Patriots.
Waddle, 26, has played in all 17 games of a regular season just once in his first four seasons in Miami. He's coming off his first year in which he failed to record 1,000 yards, finishing with 744 and two touchdowns in 2024.
If he's able to go at Buffalo (2-0), it would be a boost for the Dolphins (0-2), especially considering Bills cornerbacks Cam Lewis and Taron Johnson are listed as questionable after being limited in practice this week.
