Eddie Lacy Concussed By Brutal Hit From Brandon Meriweather

Packers RB Eddie Lacy was pretty much the definition of a defenseless player when he took this helmet-to-helmet hit from Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather. The Packers announced that Lacy suffered a concussion and is out for the day.

Update: Meriweather went helmet-to-helmet on another Packers RB, but concussed himself.

Think Meriweather will be hearing from the league office on this one? He's a repeat offender. This 2010 hit on Todd Heap earned him a $50,000 fine.

The next season, he was fined $20,000 and $25,000 for helmet-to-helmet hits in back-to-back games.
