Before anyone in Cleveland even had a chance to rip their shirt off in celebration, former ESPN take artiste and sad-man-alone-in-an-airport-hotel Skip Bayless leaped at the chance to diminish LeBron James’ third NBA title and protect Michael Jordan’s standing as the greatest basketball player of all time. It was a shameless, transparent turding of the punch bowl, and even ESPN colleagues took the opportunity to kick Bayless in the ass as he trolled his way out the door.

BUT …

Listen, it never feels good to agree with Skip Bayless. However, now that the euphoria has partially worn off, and since I remain a child of the 80s and 90s, now seems like a good time to explain why Jordan is virtually impossible to depose as the GOAT. That is the subject of this week’s Deadcast.
