A Highly Cromulent Explanation Of Why MJ Remains The GOAT
Photo via [object Object] Before anyone in Cleveland even had a chance to rip their shirt off in celebration, former ESPN take artiste and sad-man-alone-in-an-airport-hotel Skip Bayless leaped at the chance to diminish LeBron James’ third NBA title and protect Michael Jordan’s standing as the greatest basketball player of all time. It was a shameless, transparent turding of the punch bowl, and even ESPN colleagues took the opportunity to kick Bayless in the ass as he trolled his way out the door.
BUT …
Listen, it never feels good to agree with Skip Bayless. However, now that the euphoria has partially worn off, and since I remain a child of the 80s and 90s, now seems like a good time to explain why Jordan is virtually impossible to depose as the GOAT. That is the subject of this week’s Deadcast.
And there’s more! Yes, we talk about the premiere of Any Given Wednesday (see the above video of Bill Simmons grilling his totally sober guests!), plus gritty turtles, Fitbits, apologetic pitchers, and other stupid crap. If you have any tips you’d like to submit the podcast, or you would like to buy us, just email to [email protected] with the subject line DEADCAST. You can listen to the show here or download it over at the iTunes store.
