Jets Sign Handsome, Bad QB To Temporarily Replace Handsome, Bad QB
The Jets weren't satisfied with their quarterbacks after the cutdown to a 53-man roster, so they made another move Monday, signing Brady Quinn.
In order to make roster space, the team released Graham Harrell. This indicates that Mark Sanchez's injury might be more serious than previously thought—possibly serious enough to go on the revocable IR? It wouldn't make sense for the Jets to keep four quarterbacks on the active roster.
The updated QB options for the Jets: Sanchez (whenever he's healthy again), a shaky Geno Smith, a decent-in-preseason Matt Simms and Brady Quinn. Pick your poison.
