Sloane Stephens Dominates Madison Keys To Win U.S. Open Women's Final
Image via screengrab/Tim Burke/GMG After doing the damn thing against Venus Williams in the semifinal, Sloane Stephens crushed Madison Keys 6-3, 6-0 this afternoon to win the U.S. Open Women’s Final, her first Grand Slam victory.
Stephens finished with just six unforced errors in the match, to Keys’s 30. The Final was pretty anticlimactic, with Stephens winning the final eight straight games to run away with a dominant win.
