Kansas City Chiefs 'fan' Taylor Swift named Time's Person of the Year

Taylor Swift has done a lot for the NFL recently in getting viewership up as her armies of fans tune in to hopefully catch a glimpse of her on-screen as the cameras follow her every time she is seen supporting Kansas City’s Travis Kelce. She doesn’t care if, along the way, her presence is “pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
“I am just there to support Travis,” she said. “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.”
While they both support each other in the stadium (in different capacities), Swift noted that she is proud of him. Being the global icon that she is, she knows that the cameras and the following come with being her, but she and Kelce don’t let it bother them.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she said. We’re just proud of each other.”
