Evil Duke Defeated By Underdog Boston College

The Duke men’s basketball team, ranked number one overall and undefeated entering Saturday, was toppled this afternoon by Boston College in their first conference game of the season. Eat it, Blue Devils!

The Eagles were led by juniors Jordan Chatman and Jerome Robinson, and sophomore Ky Bowman; the trio combined to score 76 of Boston College’s 89 points, and Chatman and Robinson hit six consecutive free throws in the final 30 seconds to keep Duke at arm’s length. Perhaps most deliciously of all, Grayson Allen shot just 5-of-20 from the floor, and made just one of his nine attempts from beyond the arc. Again I say: Eat it, Blue Devils!
