Fans Rush Field After New Mexico State Wins First Bowl Game In 57 Years

New Mexico State, freshly kicked out of the Sun Belt conference, beat Utah State 26-20 in an overtime walkoff to keep the Aggies undefeated in bowl games in the school’s history—though tonight’s Arizona Bowl was NMSU’s first bowl appearance in 57 years.

Larry Rose III, in his final game of a four-year NMSU career, scored the winning touchdown in the bottom of the first OT period. Rushing the field of a bowl game is entirely warranted here.
