Florida Beats Tennessee With 63-Yard Hail Mary In Dumbest Football Game Ever [UPDATE: Now With Gators' Radio Call]
An “SEC” game that starred blunders, turnovers, and penalties ended on a rare stroke of competence as Feleipe Franks connected with Tyrie Cleveland for 63 yards on the game’s final play to earn the Gators a 26-20 win over Tennessee in Gainesville.
The play nearly doubled Franks’s passing yards on the day, which mostly resembled Florida football over the past few years: more points scored by their defense than the offense. Tennessee, meanwhile, played their part in the comedy of errors in not finding the end zone on a final drive that saw, at one point, five straight penalties.
