[object Object] A massive camera, suspended 60 feet in the air by a series of cables, came crashing to the ground in Rio’s Olympic park this afternoon. Video from the scene shows the moment one of the cables snapped and sent the camera falling:
According to the Associated Press, seven people at the scene suffered minor injuries, though one person was taken to the hospital. The AP also reports that the Olympic Broadcasting Service had dispatched a cherry picker to help workers examine a problem with the camera, but it didn’t get there in time to prevent the incident.
