Glory Days: I Knocked Out Randy Moss In The High School State Championship Game

This story comes from Kit:
Not sure if this qualifies as "athletic heroism," but I knocked out Randy Moss in the 1992 WV state AAA high school football championship.
This was way back when Moss was a sophomore at DuPont H.S. and played defense. Running a crossing route, I caught a pass and Moss tried to level me. But I was able to turn and lower my shoulders quickly enough to knock the wind out of Moss, while breaking his tackle. He stayed on the ground for a few minutes and the trainers had to come out and get him. Unfortunately for our team, he only stayed out for one play. We ended up losing 35 or 36-7. He scored on two bombs.
I remember talking a little trash to him while I walked back to the huddle, but I can't remember what I said.
I *do* remember telling him, during the post-game handshake, "good luck in the pros."
In 1998, I received some solace when Moss debuted on Monday Night Football. He torched the Green Bay Packers (whose uniforms my high school team had copied) far worse than he did the Brooke High Bruins.
Here's the game report filed on the national AP wire that day:
Class AAA: Quarterback Michael Ford completed 7 of 12 passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns (56, 79, 31) as No. 7 Belle DuPont (11-3) defeated No. 9 Wellsburg Brooke (10-4) 36-7 for its first title. Sophomore Randy Moss caught two TDs (56, 79), DuPont defensive back Sam Singleton had three of his team's five interceptions and Steve Smith ran 15 times for 125 yards and a 4-yard TD.
