Goalkeeper Tries To Pretend He Didn't Do The Incredibly Dumb Thing He Just Did

To throw a ball into one’s own net is the single worst thing a goalkeeper can do. To throw the ball into one’s own net, and for that colossal boner to not be the biggest takeaway from the incident in question, takes some serious work. So we doff our cap to this Ethiopian keeper who managed just that by not only throwing the ball into his own net, but then by attempting to play it off as if he hadn’t, hoping no one would notice.

That little ploy didn’t work, obviously, but like the kid in fourth grade who peed his pants but insisted that he was just really sweaty because boy, was it hot outside at recess today, we have to admire the effort.
