Hawks G Trae Young named All-Star replacement

Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young was named on Monday as a replacement for injured Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game.
Young, 26, will make his fourth All-Star appearance on Sunday at Chase Center in San Francisco, where the new format features a four-team, three-game mini-tournament.
Antetokounmpo, 30, is unable to participate due to a left calf strain. The nine-time All-Star was drafted onto Team Chuck by TNT analyst Charles Barkley.
Young is averaging 23.5 points and a league-leading 11.4 assists through 49 games this season. He is the 10th player in Hawks history to make at least four All-Star teams.
