Here Is A Baby Doing A Keg Stand

Police are still trying to determine if this is actually a baby doing a keg stand or merely the appearance of a baby doing a keg stand. Either way, it's pretty obvious that this could only happen at an Arizona State University football tailgate.

Arizona State University police issued a statement regarding the matter and are investigating further.

"ASU Police are looking into the posted photo. It's not clear if this is a joke or an actual event that occurred. Police are contacting the web site that displayed the photo to see if they can determine who posted it."

The photo appears to have been posted on September 24, on The Dirty. ASU played Utah on September 22 at home, it was actually Parent's Weekend, so that could be our game. Since then, several outlets have picked up the story and some really great articles have been written. The kind where things you are very familiar with are thrown inside quotations and defined in super newsy and brass-tacks-accurate ways.

Onlookers snapped photos as an adult held the child up for a "keg stand," where a person is held upside down and drinks as much beer as he can, MyFoxPhoenix.com reported.

Morally uncorrupted onlookers in the parking lot apparently took the picture and sent it along to The Dirty, who are outraged—outraged!—that people would abuse a child in such a way. Now look, I mean, this is definitely crazy. Like, one of the dumbest things I've ever seen, crazy. But I have enough faith in humanity, even at ASU, that I am willing to assume this is just someone's idea of a funny picture. I'd love to play Person On The Internet Who Is Outraged on this one, but I'm just not buying it. I'll dial the outrage up if it turns out to be real, but I'm OK with a default position of adult humans do not force a baby to drink ice cold light beer upside down from a tap.

At least the kid gets to wear a diaper, though. Waiting on line at a port-a-potty when you've been drinking all day? Now that's torture.
